JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Helping clients move through our GUEST EXPERIENCE PROCESS including finding the RIGHT stylist and scheduling their appointment.

  • Handling the paperwork of clients including liability release forms, policies and client information.

  • Acting as the face of hospitality at LARK by warmly greeting each person who walks through our doors and making them feel at home.

  • Maintaining the salon by washing towels, sweeping and dusting. Our salon is easy to maintain but does require consistent and frequent attention to tidiness.

  • Checking clients out, helping them book their next appointment and assisting with at home haircare suggestions.

  • Maintaining email and phone communication with clients between visits with appointment reminders and reschedules.

  • Taking before and after photos.

 

KEY SKILLS NEEDED

  • Great attitude

  • Desire to work with a team

  • Strong communication and technology skills

  • Pep in your step. This role sets the tone for team.

  • Passion for beauty

 

HOURS:

This job will be shared between two people following an A/B schedule. So you will be asked to work 2 evenings per month and two Saturdays per month plus 1 or 2 day shifts per week. This will be a total of 12 - 18 hours per week.

The shifts we have available are as follows. All applicants must be available for a minimum of 12 hours per week. Must be 18+ and eligible to work in the US.

  • TUESDAYS: 9am - 3pm

  • WEDNESDAYS: 9am - 3pm

  • THURSDAYS: 2pm - 8pm

  • FRIDAY: 9am - 3pm

  • SATURDAYS: 9am - 3pm

Before we answer, let us let you in on a secret - your clients don't care how you get paid. Our industry has been broken for so long that we have created all kinds of crazy ways to work.
We offer a HYBRID model - the freedom and flexibility you crave in chair rental and the pay, structure, and support of a commission salon. 
To be clear, we don't offer chair rental to people new to our team.
